Todd Tamplin, R.Ph.
Todd received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1993. He worked his way through school as a technician in the local hospital and eventually went on to become the Pharmacy Director of Baptist Hospital in Beaumont Texas. In 1998 he went to work in Long term care as a Director for American Pharmaceutical Services and eventually became Director for North Carolina with NCS Healthcare. In the spring of 2005 Todd partnered with friend and colleague Dean Clayton to purchase Beverly Hills Pharmacy from Bill Horton and Mike Tolley. Todd has extensive operational experience within the Long Term Care market and looks forward to bringing local expertise and support to Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, Hospices, and other institutions across Western North Carolina. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Jill, and their two children, Will and Victoria. His hobbies include road cycling, running, and golf. He also enjoys coaching Will and Victoria in sports and volunteering with the Asheville Bicycle Racing Club. He is a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church.
Jill Tamplin, R.Ph.
Jill received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1992. She has dedicated the last 14 years of her professional career to serving the public in retail pharmacy. Jill has extensive knowledge of retail pharmacy operations but prides herself in spending time with customers, helping them with over the counter product selection, counseling patients on new prescriptions, and ensuring prescriptions are filled accurately and promptly. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Todd, and their two children, Will and Victoria. Jill volunteers regularly at Will and Victoria’s school and enjoys being a soccer Mom when she is not at the Drug Store. Her commitment to patient’s care and well being is evident from the moment you walk through the door. She is a member of St Eugene Catholic Church in Asheville.
Dean Clayton, Pharm D, CGP
Dean graduated from Florida A&M University in 2000 with the Doctor in pharmacy degree. He received his geriatric certification in 2005. He is currently pursuing certification to be one of the few prescribing pharmacists in western NC. Originally from Tallahassee, Florida he relocated to Asheville in 2002. Dean spent the first part of his career working in retail pharmacies and in 2004 made the switch to long term care where he managed day to day operations and consulted long term care facilities for a couple of different LTC pharmacies. He has three girls; Josie, Gracie and Maggie. His hobbies include weight lifting, mountain biking, attending concerts, riding Harleys and spending time with his three girls.
Wes McCall, PharmD
Wes graduated with highest honors as a doctor of pharmacy from the University of North Carolina School of Pharmacy in 2008. He previously received a bachelor of science degree in biology from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2002. Before beginning pharmacy school, Wes worked for two years at the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. He was the co-author of several journal publications during his time in cancer research and also co-authored a book chapter while a student at the School of Pharmacy. A native of Charlotte and proud North Carolinian, Wes is now happy to call Asheville home. He enjoys serving customers and answering any questions they may have about their medications. Outside of work, Wes is an avid sports fan and also enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, and playing golf. |
